My grandmother is in the hospital, and she isn't doing so well. She has colon cancer and her kidneys are failing. They aren't doing dialysis because it would only give her two more days.

Once she goes home, they will send nurses to go to her townhouse everyday. The doctor has stated to my grandfather that she has 3 to 4 weeks left. This was until the muscle spasms started on Saturday. They then estimated around a week, maybe more maybe less.

My one aunt probably can't make it up here where I live to be here, since of work. My uncle and his wife flew in yesterday from Japan, my other aunt lives in the city, about forty-five minutes away.

We brought her Champagne and my aunt brought her maltese to the hospital, she was doing better since of the drugs [ morphine and something else ]...she was smiling and laughing that day.
